Fr. Agnel Multipurpose HS, Verna, Marina English HS Verna, Infant Jesus HS Colva and Rosary High School, Navelim registered wins to get full points in the Next Gen League 2.0 matches of U-12 Mixed boys and girls 7-a-side football league matches, at The King's School, Sao Jose De Areal, on Saturday.
As the league is designed for development purposes, winning teams receive three points while the losing team receives one point, a draw gives both teams +2 points and the scores of the matches are not made public.
In the Group A - Round 3 match, Fr. Agnel Multipurpose HS Verna defeated Bloomz International School Nuvem, with Benson Souza of Fr. Agnel and Spandana Shetty of Bloomz International getting the Player of the Match awards.
In Group B, Marina English HS Verna got the better of Holy Spirit Institute with Priyanshu Yadav of Marina English HS being awarded the Player of the Match.
In Group E, Infant Jesus HS Colva got the better of St. Francis Xavier's HS with Gautam Ainngeri of Infant Jesus claiming the Player of the Match prize.
In Group F, Rosary High School defeated St. Joseph's Educational Institute Chandor with Ajaan Salmani of Rosary, Navelim bagging the Player of the Match prize.
The Group C match between Auxilium HS Benaulim and Our Lady of Health HS Cuncolim ended in a draw with the Player of the Match going to Asaf Shaikh of Our Lady Of Health HS.
