Fr Agnelo SC Paroda storm into semifinals

MARGAO

Fr Agnelo SC Paroda stormed into the first semifinal of the Cavelossim Panchayat Cup 2026 with a commanding 5-1 victory over 10-man Rossman Cruz Nagoa. The match, organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim, was played at the Fr. Druston and Wellington ground in Cavelossim.

Paroda began aggressively and took an early lead in the third minute when Savio Vales’ floated pass from midfield was well controlled by Mildroy Menezes, who finished neatly past Nagoa goalkeeper Vigan Calado to make it 1-0.

After the break, Paroda doubled their advantage through Fedrich Fernandes, who struck a dipping shot to put his side 2-0 ahead. Nagoa responded with a quick counterattack as Hilton Fernandes made a solo run before being fouled by Eusebio inside the box. Referee Mario awarded a penalty, which Hilton converted to reduce the deficit to 2-1.

Paroda regained control in the 55th minute when Kanchan Kiro tapped in an easy pass from Savio Vales to restore the two-goal cushion at 3-1. Savio Vales then went on to score twice more, sealing a comprehensive 5-1 win for Paroda.

Fedrich Fernandes of Fr. Agnelo SC Paroda was named Man of the Match. The award was presented by chief guest Sandra Martins, Sarpanch of VP Carmona.
