Goa junior boys are placed in Group G alongside Hockey Maharashtra, Hockey Himachal and Manipur Hockey for the 14th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2024 which will take place from 9 to 19 Sept in Jalandhar, Punjab.
Goa begin their campaign with a match against Manipur Hockey on September 9 and the following day take on Hockey Himachal and wind up their league engagements with a clash against hockey Maharashtra.
Of the 29 teams taking part, they have been divided into eight groups, with five groups having four teams in the group while the remaining three groups have just three teams.
The state associations taking part are Hockey Madhya Pradesh, Hockey Chandigarh, Hockey Haryana Hockey Association of Odisha, Chhattisgarh Hockey, Uttar Pradesh Hockey, Hockey Rajasthan, Dadra & Nagar Haveli And Daman & Diu Hockey, Hockey Uttarakhand, Le Puducherry Hockey, Hockey Jammu & Kashmir, Assam Hockey, Hockey Arunachal, Hockey Punjab, Hockey Jharkhand, Hockey Maharashtra Hockey Karnataka, Hockey Bihar, Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu, Manipur Hockey, Delhi Hockey, Telangana Hockey, Hockey Bengal, Hockey Himachal, Hockey Andhra Pradesh, Hockey Mizoram, Hockey Gujarat, Goans Hockey and Kerala Hockey.
The quarter-finals will take place on September 16, while the semi-finals on September 18 and the final on September 19.
