Goa Velha Veterans beat Danvodem Veterans 6-5 via the tiebreaker to emerge champions of the 10th Excel Rovers Loutolim Veterans Cup veterans football tournament organised by Excel Rovers Loutolim at Camorlim Panchayat ground. The match ended goalless in regulation time.
In the tiebreaker, Goa Velha Veterans netted through Victor, Cruz, Vishwas, Nevil, Pascoal and Anthony while Caitan, Anthony, Ramiro, Saiprakash and Narayan scored for Danvondem Veterans.
Curtorim MLA Reginaldo Lourenco was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Manuel Cardozo, football promoter from Ambora, other dignitaries and club officials.
