Goalkeeper Ozen D’Silva will lead the 13-member Sporting Clube de Goa squad in the inaugural edition of the Futsal Club Championship that is being organised by the All India Football Federation from November 5 to 13 in New Delhi.
The squad: Goalkeepers - Ozen D’Silva, Sanji Bugde; Defenders - Clive Miranda, Liston Cardozo, Allan Peixto, Brendon Gomes, Joel Colaco, Alton Vaz; Midfielders - Rohit Rathod, Llyod Mascarenhas; Forwards - Marcus Mascarenhas, Llyod Cardozo, Akeeraj Martins.
Sporting Clube have been drawn in Group B alongside ISL side Bengaluru FC. Kuppuraj FC and Speed Force FC are the other teams in the group. The 16-team tournament will be played in a round-robin format with each group winner (four groups) qualifying for the semifinals.
