The Goa University organised the inter-collegiate judo championship for men and women at Jubilee Hall, recently.
The event witnessed participation from 110 male and 95 female athletes representing various colleges across the State.
Government College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Khandola, Marcela achieved significant success at the championship. Pundalik Bhoyar, a TYBCom student, clinched a silver medal in the up to 66 kg category. Additionally, three students secured bronze medals in their respective categories: Suyash Shirke (TYBA) and Balraj Yadav (TYBCom) in the up to 81 kg category, and Narendra Tari (SY BCom) in the up to 66 kg category. Sakshi Shinde, a student of SYBCom, also earned a bronze medal in the up to 70 kg category.
