MARGAO
Goa witnessed a proud sporting moment as siblings Abhirvey Jagdale (9) and Disha Jagdale (13) from Margao brought laurels to the state with their remarkable performances at the 2025 Oceanman Open Water World Final Championship, held in Dubai from 5th to 7th December.
Representing India among participants from over 90 countries, the young swimmers successfully completed their respective events. Abhirvey completed the 500-meter swim, while his elder sister Disha finished the 2-kilometer swim, both earning finisher medals for their achievement on the international stage.
The talented brother-sister duo study at Kings High School, Sao Jose de Areal, and their accomplishment has been widely appreciated by the local sporting community.
