The Goa Football Association after a lengthy period of over two years has finally allowed inter-village football tournaments, which had to be stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Goa Velha Sports Club will resume the matches of 14th London Trophy which was halted midway due to the pandemic in March 2020.
The dates for remainder of the tournament are: Pre-quarterfinals - UC Nerul vs Saligao United (March 24), Snow's FA vs Cuncolim Union (March 26), Fr Agnelo vs PY Nuvem (March 27); Quarterfinals - Anjuna Gymkhana vs Nerul SC (Mrach 28), Navelim VU vs GVSC/DBO (March 30), Curtorim Gymkhana vs UCN/Saligao United (March 29), Snow's FA/Cuncolim Union vs Fr Agnelo/PY Nuvem (March 31); Semifinals - W1 vs W2 (April 2), W3 vs W4 April 3. The final will be held, as per the tradition, on the second day of the Lenten Procession of Saints, April 5.
