Maina Sports Club defeated Margao Sports Club 2-0 to secure a spot in the semifinals of the 30th Mandopa Cup, organized by Mandopa Sports Club, and played at their ground on Wednesday.

Maina took the lead in the 10th minute with a well-placed goal from Anslem Fernandes. They doubled their advantage in the 24th minute through Joywin Carneiro. Despite creating opportunities, Margao Sports Club could not capitalize, and Maina went into the halftime break with a 2-0 lead.

In the second half, both teams squandered chances, and no further goals were scored. Maina's goalkeeper, Caje Peixeto, was named Man of the Match by Inacio Costa, a club member.
