Mandovi Boys Paiguinim beat Rising Stars of Agonda by 21 runs to win the tennis-ball cricket tournament organised by Mallikarjun Boys, Shristhal-Gaondongri at Govt Sports Complex, Karvem.
In the finals, Mandovi Boys batted first to score 56 for 4 in 4 overs. In reply, Rising Stars managed to score only 34 for 7. Mandovi Boys were awarded a cash prize of Rs 30,001 and a trophy, while Rising Stars of Agonda pocketed Rs 15,001 and a trophy.
Individual prizes: Best bowler of the tournament - Kavish Gaonkar, Rising Stars, Best batsman of the tournament - Rajesh Gaonkar, Rising Stars, Man of the match of the final - Lewies Barretto, Mandovi Boys, Man of the tournament - Vinesh Satarkar.
