The Marine Department triumphed in the MPA Inter-Departmental Tournament, securing a 4-2 victory over the CME Department in the final held at Deepvihar ground, recently.
In a thrilling match, the Marine Department took an early lead with two quick goals in the first half. Despite the CME Department's strong comeback, which saw them equalize and level the score at 2-2 before halftime, the Marine Department dominated the second half.
Minguel scored a brilliant hat-trick, netting two goals in the second half with exceptional assists from Nelson Landes, sealing the victory for the Marine Department with a final score of 4-2.
The Marine Department was awarded the Winners' Trophy by Dr. N. Vinodkumar, IPoS Chairman of MPA, and Vinayaka Rao, Deputy Chairman of MPA, along with all the Heads of Departments.
