The Students of Taekwondo Academy of Vasco have achieved an excellent result at the just concluded High School / Secondary / Higher Secondary / Inter Collegiate State Level Taekwondo Championship organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Goa and KV Regional Taekwondo Championship organised by Mumbai Region, Maharashtra. The students have qualified from their respective schools to play for the Nationals after winning at the District Level and State Level Taekwondo championships.
The Gold Medal winners will be representing the State for the School Games Federation of India Nationals,which is to be held at Madhya Pradesh in the month of November.
They have won 7 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 12 bronze medals
Medal Winners: Gold medal: Karankumar Chavan, Sanvi Mahale, Jaibhim Mullal, Ayush Dangi, Rohit Madar, Manasvi Borkar, Sarvesh; Silver medal: Avinash Dactar, Sahil Dassar, Saharsh Velip, Aryan Rajput, Om Naidu, Akash Goudar; Bronze medal: Ketan Rajput, Harish Rajput, Meora Vennia Barreto, Gayatri Redkar, Smita Pednekar, Samarpan Subba, Arman Auti, Anil Goudar, Suvedh Naik, Priyanka Saroj, Rameshari Redkar, Uma Roman Riyaz Khazi.
