PANAJI: The Modern Pentathlon Association of Goa has announced that it will conduct Open Selection Trials on September 14, to select state-level teams for the upcoming 12th National Biathle and Tetrathlon Championship, scheduled to be held in Indore.
The trials will take place at the Ponda Sports Complex, Curti, Ponda, starting from 9 am onwards. Participants from across the state are expected to compete in various age categories, including Under-9, Under-10, Under-12, Under-15, Under-17, Under-19, Under-22, and Senior divisions, in both boys' and girls' sections.
Athletes are required to carry appropriate gear, including swimming suits and running shoes. Laser guns for the event will be provided by the association.
The trials will be conducted under the supervision of Kirtan Vaiz and Virendra Majik. All participants must report with their Aadhaar card, birth certificate, and four passport-sized photographs for verification.
The selected athletes will represent Goa at the national championship, which will bring together top talent from across the country.
