Musafir 11, Amazing Boys Assolna and 28 Challengers progressed to the next round of the Third All Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament organised by the United Sports Club of Seraulim at the Seraulim Panchayat Ground.
Musafir 11 registered a comfortable four-wicket win over Gully Boys. Batting first, Gully Boys managed 33 for 7 in five overs. Musafir chased down the target in just 2.2 overs, losing only one wicket, with Riyaz top-scoring with an unbeaten 18.
In a thrilling encounter, 28 Challengers defeated Mixed Friends Benaulim via a Super Over. Both teams scored 80 runs in their allotted five overs. In the Super Over, 28 Challengers piled up 19 runs, while Mixed Friends Benaulim were restricted to just 2 runs for the loss of two wickets.
In another match, Number 4 beat Baida Boys by 29 runs after posting 67 runs, with Sankit scoring 26. Damodar remained unbeaten on 16 for Baida Boys.
In the final match of the day, Amazing Boys Assolna thrashed A1 Monteiro by nine wickets, riding on Shuban’s impressive 40-run knock.
