The Next Gen League 2.0 came to an exciting close in the U-6 Diamond 3-a-side, U-8 Futsal 5-a-side, and U-10 Sapphire Futsal 5-a-side categories with an End-of-Season Festival followed by the Awards Ceremony, celebrating young footballers at The King’s School Futsal court and Multi Sport Court.
The league, structured in adherence to the AIFF Blue Cubs guidelines, provided a dynamic and development-focused environment, emphasizing skill-building and grassroots football growth.
In the U-6 Diamond 3-a-side League the youngest footballers showcased exceptional enthusiasm and talent throughout the season. The U-8 Futsal 5-a-side League saw impressive teamwork and technical skill development.
The U-10 Sapphire Futsal 5-a-side League brought thrilling matches and outstanding performances.
With 46 matches played across all 3 categories, the Next Gen League 2.0 continues to serve as a platform for grassroots football and futsal development, thanks to the vision and dedication of Sports Director, Christian Roldan, TKSA Founder-President, Melvin Pereira, and CEO-Vice President, Ligia Pereira. Their unwavering commitment to nurturing young talent has helped create structured pathways for the next generation of footballers.
As the season comes to a close, the Next Gen League remains dedicated to fostering a love for the game while promoting skill development and sportsmanship, said the organisers.
