Palolem Warriors topped Group B and alongwith Shivneri Strikers qualified for the Semi-finals of the Canacona Media Chashak 3.0 played at SAG ground, Agonda in Canacona.
In the first league match of the Group B, Young Chanakya 92/2 (5 Ovr) defeated Jana Sena (66/3 (5 ovr) by 26 runs. Navdeep Gaonkar who scored 63 off 20 balls is declared man-of-the-match.
Faskali Boys -23/9 (5 overs) lost to Shivneri Strikers 27/3 (2.4 ovrs) by 7 wickets. MoM Shaheel B took 4 wickets conceding just 2 runs in 1 over.
Young Chanakya -51/8 (5 ovrs) lost to Shivneri Striker -56/0 (2.4 ovrs) by 10 wickets. MoM Akhil D scored 42 off 11 balls.
Faskali Boys -57/2 (5 ovrs ) were defeated by Palolem Warriors 73/3 (3.4 ovr). MoM Saiesh Kamat hit 30 runs in just 7 balls.
The match between Shivneri Strikers 46/7(5overs) and Jana Sena 46/8 (5 ovrs) got tied and both teams shared 1 point each. Lewis Barretto of Jana Sena won the MoN award for his haul of 3 wickets by conceding just 10 runs off 2 ovrs.
Young Chanakya(32/4 off 5 ovrs) were defeated by Palolem Warriors (34/3 off 2.1 ovrs) by 7 wickets. MoM Gautamesh Pagi took 2 wickets in 1 ovr.
Faskali Boys 55/6 (5ovrs) defeated JanaSena (48/4 in 5 ovrs) by 7 runs. MoM Bunty took 2 wickets in 2 overs.
Shivneri Strikers (54/6 ) lost to Palolem Strikers ( 58/2) by 8 wickets. MoM Monty took 2 wickets in 2 wickets to restrict Shivneri strikers.
In the last Group B league match Faskali Boys “ 85/4 defeated Young Chanakya (45/7) by 40 runs. MoM Bunty took 4 wickets of Young Chanakya by conceding 20 runs with one maiden over.
Royal Warriors leading the Group A have already qualified for the semi-finals from group A, while second qualifier will decided after the last league match (postponed due to bad light on day 1(Friday) to be played on Sunday morning between Parvati Parivar and Hands Fighters.
