Peoples High School, Panaji emerged champions at State Level Tennikoit Tournament U-17 Girls category of Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Peddem Sports Complex.
In the final, they defeated Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir, Margao by 2-0 games.
Vipula, Sashenka, Gargi and Kalpana represented the champions.
The third place was bagged by Vidhya Vihar HS Cortalim after defeating RD Khalap HS Mandrem by 2-0 games.
Meanwhile in the U-19 boys category, Dempo Higher Secondary School, Cujira emerged champions. They defeated Balram Higher Secondary School, Ardhfond Canacona, by 2-1 games.
Arfaaz, Utkarsh, Gautam, Shaurya and Santosh represented Dempo HSS.
Third place was bagged by Shree Shantadurga HSS Pirna by defeating Govt Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Borda Margao 2-0.
The medal, trophies and certificates were distributed by Sidarth Shirodkar, Treasurer of Bardez Physical Education Teachers Association and also a PE Teacher from Dr Ambedkar English Medium School, Mapusa.
Salil Khanolkar, Shubham K and S Jeet were appointed as Technical Officials to conduct this state championship.
In the U-19 girls category, Carmel Higher Secondary School Nuvem emerged champions. In the final, they defeated Dempo Higher secondary school Cujira by 2-0 games.
Amisha , Nikasha, Alicia , Sonu and Sargam represented Carmel HSS.
The medals, trophies and certificates were distributed by Deepak Venkatappa PE Teacher from Vidya Vihar High School Cortalim. Balram HSS Ardhfond Canacona bagged the third place defeating Sapteshwar Institute of Higher Studies Mandrem Pernem by 2-0 games.
