Progressive Ponda, Priority Titans cruise to wins

Progressive Ponda and Priority Titans recorded convincing victories on the 12th day of the Sarsangan Priority Super Series 2026 at Arlem Cricket Ground, strengthening their positions in the tournament standings.

Progressive Ponda defeated MLT Cricket Club by 18 runs after putting up a strong total of 204/6 in 20 overs. The innings was built on steady contributions from Vibhav Pai (36), Venktesh Prabhuverlekar (36), Samruddh Hegde Desai (36) and Avinash Kossambe (38). For MLT, Mihir Gaitonde impressed with 2/27, while Akshay Dalvi and Raghuvir Gharse picked up a wicket each.

In response, MLT Cricket Club managed 186/7 in their 20 overs despite a determined effort. Vaibhav Kadkade (35) and Akshay Dalvi (34*) led the chase, with support from Sachin Sardesai (25), but the target proved out of reach. Progressive Ponda’s bowlers shared the wickets, with Pratham Kossambe, Vipul Deshprabhu, Aaheesh Prabhuigaonkar and Gomakant Mahambrey claiming one apiece. Venktesh Prabhuverlekar was named Man of the Match.

In the second match, Priority Titans outplayed Sinq Rangers by six wickets in a clinical display. Sinq Rangers, batting first, were restricted to 149 in 20 overs, with Megh Netravalkar (35), Ashwin Kuncolienkar (20) and Neel Sanzgiri (18) making key contributions. Dinesh Pai (3/13) and Raunak Nargundker (3/14) led the bowling effort, while Animesh Prabhugaonkar chipped in with two wickets.

Chasing 150, Priority Titans reached 152/4 in 16.2 overs. Sahish Mahambrey (35) and Sanat Prabhudesai (34) laid the foundation, before Animesh Prabhugaonkar finished the chase unbeaten on 19. Raunak Nargundker earned the Man of the Match award for his all-round performance.
