VVM's Ramacrisna Madeva Salgaocar Higher Secondary School, Margao organised a webinar on 'Sports Nutrition' on Thursday to celebrate National Sports Day.
The chief speaker for the function was Priya Pai Raiturcar, Dietician at the Sports Authority of Goa. She explained how a balanced diet is important for the students to remain fit and how it helps in enhancing sports performance. Raiturcar gave information about what a balanced diet should contain. 324 students attended the webinar virtually.
After the webinar, a prize distribution ceremony of the Olympic Festival was held which was celebrated from July 23 to August 14 to create awareness among the students regarding the Tokyo Olympics.
