The much-awaited annual football clash between Salgaocar and Dempo Masters will take place on December 29, at Santa Cruz Ground at 4:30 pm
Organised by POGO Boys Goa Velha in coordination with Salgaocar Legends, this traditional fixture promises to be a thrilling encounter between two of Goa's footballing giants.
Salgaocar President Shivanand Salgaocar will be present for the event, which will feature legends from the golden era of Goan football. Notably, Salgaocar has had the upper hand in recent encounters, having won five of the last matches, mostly held at Rosary ground “ Navelim, against the younger Dempo teams.
The match will showcase legendary footballers such as Roy Barreto (USA), S. Venkatesh (Bangalore), and Arnold Rodrigues (UK), among others.
