Goa Cricket Association organised the Pernem Taluka U-14 Boys Cricket Tournament, where Sant Xavier Vidyalaya, Korgao emerged champions after defeating Shree Kamleshwar High School, Petechewada-Korgao, in the final.
Sant Xavier Vidyalaya secured a six-wicket victory while successfully chasing a target of 120 runs. Team captain Shreyash Nagvekar starred with the bat, scoring a match-winning 55 off 44 balls to emerge as the top scorer of the final.
The team is seen along with PE teacher Lakter Britto, Manager Rev. Fr. Clifford Castelino, and Headmistress Bernadette Fernandes.
