Semson Fernandes scored a brace as FC Tuem scored a 2-1 win over Dunes Sports Club in the GFA Second Division League at Guirim ground on Sunday.
The match was goalless in the first half but both teams came to life in the second session. Dunes were first to score through Anthony Lobo in the 57th minute. FC Tuem kept pressing to get the equaliser and finally scored in the 85th minute through Semson.
Just when it looked like the teams would share points, FC Tuem netted the winner in the 90+4 minute through Semson to walk away with three points.
In the GFA 3rd Division League, CAC Cansaulim eased past Cortalim Gymkhana 3-1. Srinath Palekar, Pradip and Chaston Braganza scored for the winners. Cortalim netted through Deep Naik.
