MARGAO
Suraj D. Velip of Shree Mallikarjun College, Canacona, emerged as the individual champion of the 4th Oscar Memorial Run, a prestigious inter-collegiate cross-country race organized in memory of the late Rui Oscar Gracias, former Headmaster of Cuncolim United High School.
The event was hosted by Cuncolim Educational Society in collaboration with CES College of Arts and Commerce under the banner of the 4th Oscar Memorial Run, with the race route stretching from Cuncolim School to Assolna and back.
In the individual category, Suraj D. Velip claimed first place with a strong performance. He was followed by Ganesh of Cougule College, Margao, in second place, and Nikhil Gaude of GVM College, Ponda, who secured third.
In the team championships, the top honors went to: Shree Mallikarjun & Shri Chetan Manju Desai College, Canacona “ Champions; GVM's Gopal Govind Poy Raiturcar College of Commerce & Economics, Ponda “ Runners-up; SSE Government College, Pernem “ Third place
Winners and runners-up in both individual and team categories were awarded cash prizes in recognition of their achievements.
