In a stunning display of attacking football, Compassion Sports Club demolished Sporting Clube de Rumdamol 12-0 in the Under-15 Khelo India Football Tournament at the Sinquetim Sports Complex, Navelim, on Thursday. The match was highlighted by an exceptional performance from Siya Naik, who scored a double hat-trick, leading her team to a commanding victory.
Compassion SC wasted no time in asserting their dominance, opening the scoring in the 4th minute through a sharp strike from Clea Abail Colaco. The early breakthrough set the tone for the rest of the match as Compassion continued to dominate possession and territory.
By the 13th minute, Sanika Borges had doubled the lead, striking her own hat-trick to put Compassion 3-0 up. In the 17th minute, Christine Fernandes added another goal, further solidifying Compassion's control over the game.
The relentless attack kept coming, with Sarika Naik scoring in the 26th minute, and Siya Naik adding to the tally in the 42nd minute with a powerful shot to make it 5-0 before the halftime whistle.
The second half saw Compassion showcase even more clinical finishing, with Sarika Borges completing her hat-trick in the 45th minute. However, the real star of the match was Siya Naik, whose performance left the Sporting Clube defense scrambling. Naik completed her double hat-trick, scoring three more goals in quick succession in the 50th, 55th, and 64th minutes, leaving the opposition helpless.
