PANAJI: Sonics Basketball Club announced the 2nd U-17 basketball tournament which will begin from November 4. This years competition, open to both schools and clubs, will feature a record-breaking lineup of 14 boys teams and 7 girls teams, uniting emerging talent from across North Goa in the only youth basketball league in the state.
With over 70 matches scheduled, the tournament will commence with a league phase followed by knockout rounds. The previous season saw St. Britto and Sonics secure the titles in the boys and girls categories, respectively. This year promises even fiercer competition as young athletes bring their best to the court. Cash prizes and medals will be awarded to the winning teams, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition.
