“We believe in our squad. With the support of our players, management and coaches, we put up a good performance and saw positive results,” said Ricardo Cardozo, the former Indian footballer who represented Mohun Bagan as goalkeeper in the I-League.
“We want to give the kids a lot of experience in the tournament. This is part of the pre-planning for the youth leagues which are going to be conducted by Goa Football Association. We want our players to gain healthy exposure and give them the opportunity to play against various clubs and academies from the State and country as well."
While in the Super Cup Gaur League organised by FC Goa in the Under-12 age group, Super30 clashed with Voody Football Academy in the finals. It was a very entertaining match with David Wisbrun giving the lead to Super30 with a powerful left-footer shot. A freekick by Chris Nunes in the second half made it 2-0 for Super30 as they were crowned the champions of the Super Cup.
