United Boys of Ambaulim booked their place in the final of the UCT Trophy Inter-Village Football Tournament after a 2-0 win over Parish Youth Nuvem at the Government Primary School Ground, Telaulim on Friday. The tournament is organised by the United Club of Telaulim.
Parish Youth Nuvem opened the scoring through Savlon Fernandes in the 14th minute, with Royston Fernandes doubling the lead in the 38th minute.
Chris Gomes of Salcette Boys Football Club presented the Man of the Match award to Savlon Fernandes of UB Ambaulim.
In the final, UB Ambaulim will face Canacona Sports and Cultural Club on Sunday.
