Vasco Gymkhana defeated MCC by 33 runs to lift the Exposure Trophy in an exciting final played in Margao.
Batting first, Vasco Gymkhana posted a competitive 247 for 9 in 40 overs, riding on fine knocks from Parth Sankpal (67) and Swanik Phadte (55). Dnyan Naik chipped in with 25 runs. For MCC, Ansh Sable claimed 3 wickets for 44 runs, while Vihan Kolambkar and Kanishk Dessai picked up a wicket each.
In reply, MCC were bowled out for 214 in 33.4 overs despite fighting efforts from Jonas Pereira (40), Samarth J (36) and Pratik Khedekar (31). Asaad Saudagar starred with the ball for Vasco Gymkhana, taking 3 wickets for 31 runs to help his side seal the title.
Parth Sankpal was named Man of the Final as well as Man of the Tournament for his consistent performances. Jonas Pereira won the Best Batsman award, while Asaad Saudagar was adjudged Best Bowler.
