Verna Veterans beat Candolim Veterans 2-0 and sailed into the final of the Chinchinim Veterans football tournament organised by Football Lovers of Chinchinim at Church Ground Chinchinim on Wednesday. Both the teams displayed attacking brand of football and kept the crowds on their toes. Verna Veterans broke the deadlock in the 34th minute when Remy slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a snapshot. In the 42st minute Remy doubled the lead. Verna Veterans will meet Nuvem Veterans in the finals on October 24.
