Youth of Curtorim got the better off Carmel Boys Curtorim by 2-1 and moved into the semifinals of Good Sheperd Cup football tournament at St Alex Church Ground, Curtorim on Tuesday. All the goals came in the first half of the match. Anthony Fernandes scored back-to-back goals for Youth of Curtorim while Carmel Boys reduced the margin. Carmel Boys made several moves in the second half but the defence of Youth of Curtorim stood tall.

MARGAOBetalbatim defeated a fighting Arlem Youth Association 5-3 via the tie-breaker in the Cavelossim Villagers UK Cup organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim and played at Fr Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim. The match rose to great heights with attack and counter attack in which Sheehan Fernandes of Arlem was a constant threat to Betalbatim.
