The Benaulim Constituency Football Academy, in collaboration with Super30 Soccer Schools, is proud to announce the opening of its new football training centre at Varca Ground, scheduled for September 2025. This initiative reflects a strong commitment to providing top-tier football coaching to young athletes across Benaulim, a region renowned for its vibrant sports culture and passionate community support.

Speaking at the announcement, Warren Alemao, Youth Leader, Social Worker, and the driving force behind the project, said the academy will serve as a centre for nurturing local talent and promoting holistic player development.

“This academy is more than just a training centre — it's a place where young athletes can grow, learn, and realise their potential both on and off the field,” said Alemao.

The Varca-based facility will feature modern training infrastructure, advanced football equipment, and a coaching staff comprising licensed professionals, many of whom have played at the national and international levels.

Training programs have been developed in collaboration with expert coaches to meet the highest standards, focusing on technical skill, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental strength.

The academy will offer non-residential, after-school programs tailored to players aged 8–18. Modules will be offered across foundation and development levels, with each athlete receiving personalized training and ongoing mentorship.

Alemao emphasized the academy’s holistic coaching philosophy, stating that values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship are integral to the program.

In addition to regular training sessions, the academy plans to host tournaments, workshops, and community events to provide young players with match exposure and competitive experience.

“These events are essential not just for skill development, but for building camaraderie and a strong sense of community among our players,” Alemao noted.

The initiative has received enthusiastic support from parents, educators, and local leaders, many of whom see the academy as a step forward in developing a vibrant football culture in the region.

Looking ahead, plans are in place to expand facilities and introduce advanced training modules, ensuring the academy continues to meet the evolving needs of its athletes.

“Our goal is to build a world-class training environment that shapes not just skilled footballers, but responsible and well-rounded individuals,” Alemao concluded.
