Social worker Warren Alemao has launched the Benaulim Constituency Football Academy, a 10-month structured football training programme aimed at nurturing young talent in the constituency.
The initiative has been set up in collaboration with Super30 Soccer Schools as technical partners and will provide professional coaching for boys and girls aged 10 to 18 years. Training sessions will be conducted at the Varca football ground every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4.30 pm to 6 pm.
Alemao said the academy’s focus is on holistic development – technical, tactical, physical, mental and social – while ensuring that no talented child is deprived of proper coaching and guidance. The programme is designed to create a pathway from grassroots to competitive football, with an emphasis on skill development, discipline and passion for the game.
Participants will be provided with jerseys and training kits, and registration is open exclusively for youngsters from all seven villages of the Benaulim constituency. Notably, no training fees will be charged, making the programme completely free of cost.
Limited slots are available, and interested players have been encouraged to register early through the official online form.
