Goa’s Sakshi Kale brought pride to the state by winning two bronze medals in the 100 metres and 1500 metres - T13 category at the 7th Indian Open Para Athletics International Championship 2025, held in Bangalore, Karnataka.
She also put up a commendable performance in the 400 metres, finishing in fourth place.
The Goa Paralympic Association extended their congratulations to Sakshi for her outstanding achievements. Vishram Naik, President, and Sudesh Thakur, Secretary of the Association, praised her determination and consistent performance on the national stage.
Her participation in the championship was made possible with financial support from Vedanta Company, which has been actively encouraging para-athletes from Goa.
