Snows Football Academy Raia dominated United Sports Club of Seraulim 7-0 to secure the GFA Under-17 Division II title at Raia Panchayat Ground on Thursday. The team led 2-0 at halftime, powered by outstanding performances from Samuel Colaco and Wayne Colaco, both of whom scored hat-tricks.
From the outset, Snows showed their dominance, pressing high and troubling the Seraulim defense. The opening goal came in the 24th minute from a dangerous left-flank cross by Wayne Colaco. Just two minutes later, Samuel Colaco calmly converted to double the lead. Wayne struck again in the 45th minute to complete his first-half brace.
In the second half, Snows maintained control as Samuel Colaco quickly scored twice more, completing his hat-trick by the 52nd minute. Messi Rebello also got on the scoresheet in the 67th minute to extend the lead.
The scoring spree continued when Wayne Colaco secured his own hat-trick by converting a penalty in stoppage time (80+1 minute), sealing a comprehensive 7-0 victory.
The large crowd witnessed a dominant Snows side remain undefeated throughout the tournament, claiming their second consecutive title after winning in 2023.
The trophy was presented by Laxman Hodarkar, Chairman of GFA Youth Development, to Anthony Pango, Senior Vice President of GFA, alongside Andrew Ferrao and Cosme Oliveira, GFA executive members.
