SV’s Sridora Caculo College, Goa Medical College, Agnel Institute of Technology, and Goa Multi-Faculty College emerged victorious in their respective fixtures on Day 4 of the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Football Championship 2025-26 at the Goa University Ground and Rosary Church Ground.

In the opening match at the university ground, SV’s Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies, Mapusa defeated Swami Vivekanand Vidyaprasarak Mandal’s College of Commerce, Shirshire-Borim with a convincing 4-0 scoreline.

The first half saw Prathamesh Sawant netting a brace in the 12th and 16th minutes, giving Caculo College an early 2-0 lead. The team extended their dominance in the second half with goals from Vedant Gadekar (54') and Aryan Pole (59') to seal the win.

In the second match, Goa Medical College & Hospital, Bambolim edged out P.E.S’s Ravi S. Naik College of Arts & Science, Farmagudi in a penalty shootout after the match ended in a goalless draw in regulation time.

The tie-breaker ended 4-2 in favour of Goa Medical College, with successful spot kicks from Iyle Fernandes, Vishav Kerkar, Croy Fernandes, and Bryson Colaco. For PES, only Prathamesh Naik and Jpvito Dias converted their penalties.

At Rosary Ground, Agnel Institute of Technology & Design, Assagao registered a comfortable 4-0 win over Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, Harmal.

Striker Shreyash Dabholkar led from the front, scoring twice in quick succession in the 14th and 16th minutes to put Agnel ahead by halftime. Mahadev Parwar (48') and Karthik Gad (68') added to the tally in the second half. Best Performer: Shreyash Dabholkar (Agnel Institute, Assagao)

In the final match of the day, SPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora overcame Goa Dental College & Hospital, Bambolim in a dramatic tie-breaker after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Goa Dental opened the scoring through Sahil Arolkar in the 13th minute. However, Aryan Thakur equalised for Multi-Faculty College in the 38th minute. The match was then decided via penalties, with Dharbandora winning 5-4.

Goal scorers in tie-breaker for Goa Multi-Faculty College were Zishan Shaikh, Vijay Naik, Gurav Gaonkar, Sahil Naik, and Dattaraj Gaonkar.

For Goa Dental College, successful penalties came from Tanmay Kerkar, Manoj Talkur, Gopal Mandrekar, and Raj Quadror.
