Vansh Gaude emerged as the winner of the chess tournament organized by 41er Club No. 66 of Ponda in collaboration with the Ponda Taluka Chess Association (PTCA). The event was held for participants of the Chess in School programme at Desai Pratishthan Hall, Wagle High School, Mangeshi.
Following close behind were Saijeet Narvekar, Tejas Kuttikar, Manasvi Tivrekar, and Nirja Gaude, who secured 2nd to 5th places respectively, showcasing impressive talent and promising chess skills.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by prominent dignitaries including Shankar Kirlaparkar, Chairman, 41er Club No. 66 of Ponda, Uday Sardesai, Secretary, 41er Club No. 66 of Ponda, Dr. Vilas Naik, Past Chairman, 41er Club No. 66 of Ponda, Sagar Sakordekar, President of PTCA & Past Chairman, 41er Club No. 66 and Mitasha Aigal, Headmistress, Wagle High School, Sambhaji More, Teacher Co-ordinator from the Primary Section and Milind Gaude, Tournament Arbiter.
