This government wants to kill thertourist economy in South Goa and allow real estate sharks to get it. These people who are prospecting are frontsrfor politicians. It’s is a real estate scam. Beware of the third party that myrfriend Mauvin talks about. The third party is the private players who arerfunding everything.
Mauvin Godinho: I may not be for Mopa, but I’m not totallyragainst Mopa. The government is in a tearing hurry to acquire land. But let therpeople there get market rates for their land. There should be no differencerbetween a farmer in Mopa and Bernard Costa.

Mauvin Godinho: If a local farmer (Bernard Costa is called ar“local farmer”) is struggling to get his land and if he gives it to a localrbuilder to make money, is there anything wrong? I have been against anyracquisition and will do it for anyone in my constituency.
Sujay Gupta: it is indeed interesting that he begs for hisrland for “family use” as a son of the soil and then hands it over for arbuilders use. The de-notification was a Valentine day gift to one powerfulrindividual and the then Deputy Speaker batted for him. The minutes of thatrmeeting clearly prove this.
