Confirming this, Carlos SVF de Noronha from Caravela Café, said, “We will be the sole distributor of The Flying Squirrel Coffee in Goa, as we will be selling it to major supermarkets and also to coffee shops. Besides, we will also be offering this brand of coffee to people at our café.”
The Flying Squirrel is banking upon the number of variants it has to attract customers. Ashish D’Abreo, founder-partner, The Flying Squirrel, said, “We have varieties of coffee including Parama, which is A perfectly balanced coffee with a lining of bitter sweet bright nuances. Then, we have Sattva, which is wholly organic Arabica coffee. We also have Aromatique, which is also Arabica bean coffee and has mild sweetness reminiscent of fruit and berries.”
D’Abreo continued, “Earlier, people would only speak about adding chicory to coffee, when it came to giving variety. But, we actually have six variants, which are quite different from each other.”
Talking about Goa market he said, “Goa is really cosmopolitan place, which makes it ideal for coffee, as people from different cultures come here. That’s how I met Carlos Noronha from Caravela Café and we decided to partner with them to target Goa market.”
