Raitura Sports Club held the upper hand in both the sessions and fired a couple of shots against the rival goal. However, near misses by their forwards prevented them from scoring. After a couple of misses, Raitura Sports Club rocked the rival citadel in the 37th minute when striker Wilson Rebello bulged the net. Stung by that reverse, Arlem Youth Club pressed hard and employed more men upfront and they were thwarted by rival defenders. Crossing over, Raitura Sports Club continue in the same vein as their forwards troubled the rival defence with sporadic raids. Raitura Sports Club forwards had a chance but misfired from close range.
In the 76th minute, Pradip sealed the rival fate with a stiff grounder. Down by 0-2, Arlem Youth Sports Club went all out but failed to get past the rival's strong rearguard.
At Dando grounds, United Club of Benaulim registered a fluent 3-1 win over Margao Sports Club. Benaulim dominated the game right from the word go and fired a couple of shots against the rival citadel.
At the other end, Margao players did well to close down the Benaulim attackers and midfielders.
Post resumption, United Club of Benaulim were off to a flying start and their efforts bore fruit in the 48th minute when Manfred Fernandes slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a neat tap. Spurred by the lead, United Club of Benaulim intensified their attack and pushed their opponent's defence into disarray. In the 53rd minute, Kegan Rodrigues doubled the lead for Benaulim team when he punished the rival goalkeeper with a neat shot. Stanely Fernandes put the issue beyond doubt soon after. Earlier, Margao were a bit lucky at the start of the second half when United Club of Benaulim missed a golden chance to score.
Down by 0-3, Margao managed to score the consolation goal through the boots
of Floriano Vaz.
