One of the largest watch makers in the world, Timex, inaugurated a new ‘Times World Store' in Panaji, which is also Goa's first.

The store was inaugurated at the hands of CCP (Corporation of The City of Panaji) Mayor, Surendra Furtado, in the presence of Anupam Mathur, head, sales and marketing, Times Group India. Speaking on the occasion, Mathur said, "We are happy to be establishing our presence in Goa as it is definitely a priority market for us. With growing demand for quality timepieces and after sale services, we wanted to offer an all in one store that meets expectations on a real time basis." The company further informed that an authorized service centre has also been launched to give flawless service to consumers.
A team of professionals from Google held a conference in Panaji, which was attended by 30 tech professionals from the state.
