Kineco Kaman wins major award in Manchester

Kineco Kaman Composites India won a gold tier award for exceptional performance as a supplier for BAE systems, which is one of the world’s leading company in aerospace and defence. The company was awarded for contributions to supply chain success in 2018.

Kineco Kaman, which is a joint-venture between Goa-based Kineco and US-based Kaman Aerospace Group, manufactures advanced composite parts and assembles for aerospace and defence customers. 

Kineco Kaman was selected from a pool of more than 750 suppliers, which worked with BAE Systems in 2018 and it was honoured at a ceremony held in Manchester, New Hampshire.   

Shekhar Sardessai, founder promoter of Kineco Group and chairman & managing director of Kineco Kaman said, “We are proud and delighted to be standing among the best in the world for our performance on quality & delivery and being recognised as a

BAE Systems has a ‘Partner 2 Win program’, which is designed to achieve operational excellence and eliminate defects in its supply chain by raising the bar of performance expectations to meet the demand of customers.   

As part of the programme, BAE Systems regularly meets its suppliers at their locations to transfer best 

practices so that the components and materials that compose BAE Systems products meet the highest quality standards.

Dealers struggling with decline in automobile sales for 3-4 months
