Philips Lighting launches second Light Lounge in Goa

Former Chief Minister and Margao MLA Digambar Kamat inaugurated Philips Lighting India's new exclusive Philips Light Lounges in Goa, the first such Lounge at Malbhat-Margao and the second of its kind in Goa.

The company has termed this new Light Lounge as an exclusive branded retail store for the entire home lighting range by Philips, including its most recent launch --- Philips Hue.

Senior Director, Trade Channel Lighting, Philips Lighting India, C Arun Kumar, said through this launch, the copmpany aims to bring the latest designs in LED lighting to the customers in Goa and thereby consolidate their footprint in the city.

A press release issued by the company on this occasion claims that the store showcases full range of LED lighting solutions that have been designed keeping in mind the lighting requirements of Indian consumers, home decor trends in the country and the emerging concept of connected ambient lighting.

“In addition to this, the Light Lounge will also have the complete range of the recently launched Philips Hue in India --- the world's smartest web-enabled LED home lighting system which allows users to create and control the light using their smartphone or tablet,” informs the press release.

The company claims to offer a diverse range of 800 world-class home decorative lighting designs and concepts in the price range from Rs 575 to Rs 1,00,000.

Those present included National Sales Manager, Modular Switches, Consumer Channel, Raja Moudgil and Regional Sales Manager, Lighting “ Trade Sales (WR).
