Reliance Jio Infocomm launched the 'JioMoney' app for Android and iOS platforms. JioMoney is a mobile wallet, which helps you in making payments while you are on the go. In nutshell, it allows you to make cashless payments and also doesn’t put a constraint on your mobility.
JioMoney app allows users to do mobile and DTH recharge, make day-to-day payments and send or receive money. In addition to this, it also allows payment of insurance premiums and others as it has tie-ups with several companies.
The app has a secure payment system, which makes it possible for users to keep their cards at home safe and don’t run the risk of losing them. JioMoney allows users to make online shopping payments at leading stores like Archies, Bookmyshow, Clarks, Groupon, Imagica, Starbucks among others.
Reliance Jio had also bought Jio Chat app, around two months ago. JioMoney app was till recently under a trial phase, which as per company’s press release has gone off successfully.
The app allows the user various modes of usage: Users can pay the merchant through a JioMoney card using the app or through any other credit/debit card connected to the JioMoney. The users also have an option of opening a digital bank account or linking their existing account to the app, making it convenient to transfer money safely.
