Leading domestic low-cost carrier SpiceJet infused yet new flight in its network that connects Goa to Bangkok after the introduction of the new international flight from Chennai to Bangkok, four days ago.
Scheduled to start from 10th December 2015, flights will operate six days a week from Chennai, with prices starting from Rs 9,999 (all inclusive).
SpiceJet's Sr. VP and Head-Sales and Distribution Shilpa Bhatia said, “The second phase of growth is expected to come from cities like Goa. Non-metro airports currently accounting for only 30 per cent of the total air traffic, represent a vast untapped market that we intend to explore. Boosting regional connectivity has always been a part of our core agenda. And with South India fast emerging as a growth hub we are now targeting markets like Chennai, Madurai, Kochi, Vijayawada, Kozhikode, Coimbatore, & Tuticorin while taping into more international destinations.”
Bookings for tickets are now open on www.spicejet.com, SpiceJet’s mobile apps and through online travel portals and travel agents.
SpiceJet has continued to better its on time performance which has reached a remarkable 85.1% in September 2015.
