Abhinav Creationz’s Majja School Of Joy has organized a special program on the occasion of ‘International Literacy Day’, on September 8, in the Majja School of Joy, Aquem, Margao. The program is being organized in association with AK47 (Aami Konkani 47), a newly formed youth group in Margao and will begin at 5.00pm. Writer and translator, Dinesh Manerkar will be the chief guest on the occasion.
The theme of this year’s international literacy day being ‘Multilingualism’, the programme will see multilingual readings by different authors. The program will have original literary readings by Tanvi Kamat Bambolkar, Satyam Acharya, Gauravi Keni and Nikita Prabhu. Palash Agni, Anish Agni and Palia Agni will present translated literature at the occasion.
Abhinav Creationz has also partnered with Pratham Books for their ‘One Day One Story’ initiative and Majja School students will present two amazing stories on this occasion. Debasmita Dasgupta’s The weightlifting princess and Menaka Raman’s Gappu can’t dance will be presented on the occasion.
