Konkani Bhasha Mandal organised its unique programme titled ‘Petul’ at Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem. The program was organised in association with Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem.
It saw the release of Shanni Masti 6, books on freedom fighters of Goa, Book on thoughts, Biographies, Story books and translated books of Jyotsna Prakashan.
The release ceremony was graced by Rajoo Naik,vice chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem Balkrishna Hodarkar, chairperson of Curchorem Municipality, Sister Celestine Alva, manager of Holy Cross Convent, Father Pio Furtado of Our lady of Fatima High School, Martin Menino Fernandes, Konkani activist, Siddhesh Bhise, entrepreneur, Ajay Gaude, member secretary of Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem and Dr Joydeep Bhattacharjee, principal of Government College of Quepem.
During the function 9 institutes from different parts of Goa namely Chetana School, Curchorem, Union High School, Sanguem, New Education institute, Curchorem, tiny Tots Primary School, Quepem, Sharada Kala Mandir, Curchorem, D Dance Company, Government College, Quepem, Vidya Bhuvan Konkani Shala, Margao, and Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir, Margao performed on specially choreographed songs from Shanni Masti at the function.
