As part of the Super School complex activity, inter-school drama competition was conducted in Bal Bharati Vidyamandir School recently. The schools which participated in the event were Mushtifund HSS, Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts, Science and Commerce, Dr KB Hedgewar HS, Rosary HS and Bal Bharati Vidyamandir School Raibandar. Altogether there were 65 participants from the five schools.
Anagha Deshpande and Sandeep Deshpande judged the event. Sandeep Deshpande has 22years of experience at film and TV industry during which he has worked as drama teacher, alumni of Kala Academy theatre arts. Anagha Deshpande is currently employed as drama teacher at Nirmala Instituted Altinho and is also a member of Advisory Board of Kala Academy’s school of Drama.
In this competition, the first place was won by Vasantrao Dempo HSS of Arts Science and commerce, Cujira. The second place was won by Bal Bharati Vidyamandir School, Raibandar. The prizes were given at hands of the chief guest on the same day.
