Students of the TYBBA – Travel & Tourism programmebrought recognition to the institution through their participation in the GoaYuva Tourism Meet 2026, held at the NIO Auditorium, Dona Paula. Yash Gupta andYuvraj Rajpurohit, both TYBBA Travel & Tourism students, represented theinstitution at the competition, which featured two thematic tracks: “DigitalAgenda & AI to Redesign Goa’s Tourism Future” and “Goa Beyond Beaches –Scaling Sustainable Tourism Future.” The event brought together 10 teams and 20participants who competed across the two tracks.
Yuvraj Rajpurohit secured First Place in Track 1, “DigitalAgenda & AI to Redesign Goa’s Tourism Future.” He was awarded a prize of Rs25,000 for his achievement.
A noteworthy aspect of the students’ participation was theirinvitation to join the panel discussions held on stage alongside otherdignitaries. Yash Gupta and Yuvraj Rajpurohit were the only two studentparticipants invited to contribute to the panel discussions on their respectivethemes, providing them with an opportunity to share their perspectives onemerging trends and the future of tourism in Goa. Dr Madhumita Mahatmeaccompanied the students at the event.
