Vacancies for nurses not filled when letters arrive too late

There are 150 post for nurses in health services and GMC that are vacant. When it came to hiring staff, the interview letter was signed on August 28 and the interview was on September 5.

But, the postmen delivered the letters as late as September3, while some were not yet delivered. Why were these interview letters are sentso late when it is so important for health services to get nursing staff?

For example I know few of nurses who have passed out fromGMC Nursing School and left Goa for temporary jobs outside, since there were novacancies here. How are these nurses come and attend the interview with suchnotice? Moreover their hospital in-charge does not relieve them and theiroriginal certificates cannot be given to them as per their procedures. So evenif they do make it for their interview, they don’t have their documents. Can healthservices allow them to appear with the certified copies and that the originalcan be produced later once the job is confirmed? The CM and the health ministershould consider such issues in public interest to fill up vacancies.
