After delighting Goans at the Monte Music Festival recently, ‘Trio Inferno’ returned for yet another delightful performance. BHARATI PAWASKAR catches up with the trio

The ongoing Sensorium 2018 which is currently on at Sunaparanta-Goa Centre for the Arts, Altinho has seen a melange of interesting art exhibition, film screenings and music acts. The latest musical performance that delighted audiences happened on February 10 and witnessed Trio Inferno from Austria live in action. The trio which comprisess of Marialena Fernandes on the piano; Barna BÃ¡nfi, on saxophone and Mareike Jankowski on mezzo soprano performed compositions by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Verdi, Bartok, Piazzolla and popular Spanish, Gypsy and Hungarian folk music.
